About Us
The Consultory Hub is designed to support small businesses with their bookkeeping and day to day financial operations. We look beyond the numbers to work in partnership with our clients to help them feel empowered by their finances to achieve their business goals and growth. We specialise in working with service based industries including allied health, trades, design and consultants.
The Role
Predominantly working from home between 20-25 hours per week across 5 days, you will be supporting our clients with a wide range of functions within the Bookkeeping services realm. Reporting to the Company Director, this opportunity has genuine variety to keep you busy, and stimulated working across various client types & sizes. We can provide some flexibility as to when you complete your part time hours, but prefer you are available Monday to Friday. You MUST be based in Adelaide for ‘in person’ meetings when required.
We are not looking to sponsor employees from overseas, you must have Australian PR or Citizenship to apply.
Key responsibilities will include:
You will support the Account Management process for our clients so experience using Xero is ESSENTIAL
Exposure to software such as Employment Hero, Cliniko, Splose, Google Sheets would be a distinct advantage, but is not essential
Communication with clients and management of their accounts and email address
Triage and task management for clients
Accounts Payable
Contacting debtors on behalf of clients
Reviewing timesheets and processing of payroll
Preparation and lodgement of activity statements
Compliance for superannuation, single touch payroll finalisation and work cover
Invoicing for clients
Knowledge of NDIS Pricing Arrangement and codes is desirable, but not essential
Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office to arrange payment plans and other client requirements as needed
About you
High level of attention to detail is critically important
Cert IV Bookkeeping or Accounting preferred or equivalent experience
BAS Agent status an advantage, but not essential
The ability to understand payment and wage areas of relevant Awards
Logical with an analytical mindset
Strong organisation and prioritisation abilities
Initiative and self starter
Friendly and engaging personality
