A well-established civil construction company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Supervisor - Civil to support its growing portfolio of civil infrastructure projects across NSW. Specialising in roadworks, drainage, earthworks, and utilities, the team is known for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. This role will be based at Rossmore, NSW.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day civil site activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.

Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials for efficient execution of works.

Monitor and enforce WHS (Work Health and Safety) compliance on-site, conducting regular safety toolbox talks and site inspections.

Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and local authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.

Track progress against project milestones and communicate any delays, risks, or issues.

Interpret construction drawings and plans to ensure accurate implementation.

Maintain site records including daily diaries, progress reports, and incident reports.

Ensure quality assurance (QA) and inspection test plans (ITPs) are implemented and followed.

Assist with procurement scheduling and delivery coordination of materials and equipment.

Manage site handovers, practical completion, and defect rectification.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a civil site supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and local industry standards.

Proven ability to lead and motivate site teams.

Competence in reading technical drawings and specifications.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Sound understanding of WHS regulations and environmental compliance.

Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Aconex – desirable).
