About the Role:
We are seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to cover a maternity leave period. In this key role, you will coordinate support services for NDIS participants, ensuring their needs are met through efficient scheduling and clear communication.
You’ll manage incoming calls, liaise with clients and support workers, and provide general administrative support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference and looking to further develop their career in the disability sector.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Answer and direct incoming calls professionally and promptly
Coordinate support services, matching participants with suitable workers based on their skills and experience
Maintain regular communication with participants and their representatives to meet their support needs
Identify and engage alternative service providers when necessary
Assist with general administrative duties as required
To be eligible in the Position:
Qualifications:
Desirable - Disability, Mental Health or Community Sector Qualification (E.g. Diploma of Community Services, Welfare, Mental Health)
OR Adequate experience within the community services sector and good knowledge of the NDIS
Skills:
Commitment to continuous quality improvement.
Understanding of the NDIS framework.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to develop expertise in working with individuals with disabilities, mental health concerns, and their representatives.
Self-sufficiency in completing assigned tasks.
Proficiency in planning, prioritizing, and organizing workloads.
Effective time management skills.
Strong administrative and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to pivot focus from one client to the next.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in managing emails, phone calls, and document handling.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management skills.
Experience in coordinating meetings and preparing meeting materials.
