About the role

Kitsch Bar Asia is seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at our flagship restaurant in Leederville, Western Australia. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

What you'll be doing

Managing and mentoring a team of passionate chefs and kitchen staff

Developing innovative seasonal menus that showcase the best of local and seasonal produce

Maintaining strict quality control and food safety standards in the kitchen

Monitoring and managing kitchen budgets and inventory

Collaborating with the management team to drive the overall success of the restaurant

Fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing kitchen culture

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or equivalent senior culinary role

Strong working knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques

Excellent time management, multitasking, and leadership skills

Passion for using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and creating memorable dining experiences

Ability to work effectively under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with the management team and customers

Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications in food safety and hygiene
