The Role
We are on the hunt for a dedicated and experienced E-commerce Account Manager to manage our marketplace accounts, optimize product listings, create marketing strategies, and drive sales growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the online marketplace sector, strong analytical skills, and the ability to implement effective strategies to increase visibility, conversion rates, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Account Management:
Manage and maintain our presence on various online marketplace channels.
Optimize product listings, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and pricing.
Monitor marketplace performance metrics, such as sales, traffic, CTR, CVR, and customer feedback, and take appropriate actions to improve results.
Sales and Business Growth:
Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth on online marketplaces.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and opportunities for product assortment expansion.
Optimize product visibility through keyword research and marketplace-specific advertising and promotional campaigns.
Monitor and analyse sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions to increase conversion rates and revenue.
Analytics and Reporting:
Utilize analytics tools and platforms to gather and analyse data related to sales, traffic, customer behaviour, and marketplace performance.
Generate regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.
Identify trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement based on data analysis, and recommend actionable strategies to optimize results.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Passion for E-commerce and staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Proven knowledge and experience in E-commerce marketplace management.
Deep knowledge of online marketplace platforms, policies, rules, and best practices.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and metrics to drive business decisions.
Familiarity with SEO techniques, keyword research tools, and marketplace advertising platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and handle customer inquiries.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in E-commerce software, such as marketplace management tools and analytics platforms.
