Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting functions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What you'll do:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including supplier payments and customer invoicing
- Reconcile bank statements and daily transactions
- Process payroll
- Support weekly financial reporting
- Various reconciliations
- Monitor and follow-up on overdue debtors
- Ongoing general ledger maintenance and reconciliation
- Ad-hoc duties as required
What you'll bring:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in a similar position
- Experience in blue collar environments highly regarded
- Ability to interpret complex payroll awards
- Can work autonomously and as part of a team
As this role is an initial 3 month contract with a view for permanency, you must have full working rights in Australia.
