Altus Traffic currently has an exciting opportunity for a self motivated and energic Incident System Administrator to join our HSEQ team.

The Incident System Administrator will be responsible for the following:

• Overseeing the initial processing of submitted incident and near miss reports
• Investigating minor incidents and near misses within the Company's reporting system with a view to identifying causal factors
• Contacting field based employees to gather further information or clarification on incidents and near miss reports
• Referring corrective actions for minor incidents, allocating action owners and ensuring all actions have been effectively closed out within specified time frames
• Maintaining the incident report system and managing outstanding actions in a timely manner
• Reporting regularly in relation to incident and injury trends and the status of corrective actions
• Building strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders and business unit managers and supervisors

Skills & Experience

• Previous HSEQ administrative experience
• Strong data entry skills
• Time management an ability to self-manage time and competing demands due to the random nature of incidents
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience in traffic management or a similar industry would be advantageous
• Experience working with a largely casual blue collar workforce
• Ability to think objectively regarding incidents
• Ability to communicate and engage with team mates from various backgrounds
