Are you highly organised, proactive, and ready to step into a key role within a growing local business?
TB Electrical & Communications is seeking a motivated Office Manager to help keep our operations running smoothly as we grow. This is a hybrid, part-time position working closely with our Director and Operations Manager, with the opportunity to progress into a full-time role for the right person. It’s ideal for someone who thrives on variety, takes initiative, and is looking for a long-term position where they can truly make an impact.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll be the bridge between our field team and office operations, ensuring jobs stay on track and clients are kept in the loop. Responsibilities include:
Monitoring job schedules and ensuring field technicians are running on time
Allocating jobs and updating information in ServiceM8
Client communication (scheduling, rescheduling, and status updates)
Supporting quoting, invoicing, and job documentation
Preparing toolbox talks and coordinating internal meetings
Assisting with team onboarding and training
Ordering supplies and maintaining system organisation
Supporting WHS compliance and process improvements
Providing general admin support to the Director and wider team
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
Organised, confident and able to take charge of the day-to-day office flow
Experienced in admin or coordination roles (trades/admin experience is a bonus)
Comfortable using systems like ServiceM8, Google Drive, Asana, Outlook and Adobe
A strong communicator who’s confident dealing with clients and team members
Solutions-focused and ready to bring ideas to improve how we work
Tech-savvy, local to Springfield, and happy to work hybrid (min. 2 days in office)
If you’ve managed teams before or worked in customer-facing roles, that’s a strong plus.

Hours & Pay
25 hours per week | 5 hours/day across 5 days
Hybrid: 2+ days in-office, remaining days from home
Opportunity to progress into a full-time role for the right candidate
Pay range: $34–$40/hr + super
$34–$35/hr: suited to strong admin candidates new to the electrical industry
Up to $40/hr: for candidates with proven experience managing admin and operations within an electrical business
