About Us
The Foot Stop Podiatry team are ‘the podiatrists who really care’.
We provide mobile podiatry services across SE QLD, Northern NSW and Sydney. The role is based at our Elanora clinic for 9 days per fortnight, with an immediate start.
Once trained, you may have the opportunity to join a work from home/in office roster shared amongst our admin team.
About You
Our ideal administrative staff member should possess a unique blend of skills and traits to excel in our busy environment:
Customer Service Experience: You need to stay calm under pressure and ensure the customer is looked after, and feeling cared for at all times
Organizational Skills: To manage patient records, appointments, and billing efficiently.
Communication: Excellent communication with patients, staff, and referrers is a must.
Proven Attention to Detail: Accuracy is crucial in handling medical records, bookings, and billing information.
Empathy and Compassion: With patients, staff, and referrers is a must
Multitasking Ability: Staying calm under pressure is key.
Knowledge of Medical Terminology: Understanding medical terms helps them communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with healthcare software and electronic health records (EHRs) is important.
Problem-Solving Skills and Critical Thinking: To handle unexpected issues, such as scheduling conflicts or billing errors, efficiently.
Confidentiality: Protecting confidentiality and adhering regulations at all times.
Patient Advocacy: Your goal should be to ensure patients receive the care and information they need.
Your Qualifications & experience
Previous experience in customer service and/or healthcare administration
Is fully vaccinated in compliance with COVID-19 QLD vaccine mandate
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer literate
Local knowledge of SE QLD and Northern NSW suburbs helpful
Role Tasks & responsibilities
Booking and Confirming Appointments
Liaising with patients, families, staff, and referrers
Equipment Sterilisation
Assisting clinicians with administrative tasks
Invoicing and taking payments
