About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our passionate and dedicated team at Cafe Brunelli' in West Lakes, SA. As our Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious, high-quality meals that delight our customers. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career growth within our thriving hospitality business.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes from our diverse menu

Ensuring all meals are presented to the highest standard

Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment

Assisting with menu development and testing new recipes

Supervising and mentoring junior kitchen staff

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Assures the highest level of standards for sanitations and kitchen safety.

Preparing varieties of dishes such as pasta, risotto, soups, starters and more.

Portioning food, garnishing and presenting high quality food which meets our Brunelli Standard.

Assists any new kitchen assistance with training and improvements.

Storing food in the right manner, maintaining standard temperatures of ovens, grill and other equipment.

Assists in all food production process with in the business.

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Formal culinary training or qualifications

Strong time management and multitasking abilities

Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills

Passion for creating delectable, fresh and seasonal cuisine

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Flexible and adaptable to changing demands
