About the role

Seeking an all-rounder with good communication skills to cover all aspects of the dental surgery including assisting and reception.

We are a small surgery and essentially we run 1 dental chair full time with the 2nd chair just used as a back up for scanning.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and ensuring our patients receive exceptional care.

This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, patient-focused environment.

We are considering either 4 days with extended hours, or a standard 5 day Mon-Fri week.

No weekend work.

Hourly rate will be negotiable for the right person.

What you'll be doing

Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, mixing materials, and maintaining a sterile work area

Greeting and welcoming patients, helping them feel at ease, and ensuring a positive patient experience

Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments according to strict infection control protocols

Providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient inquiries and concerns on the phone, or returning their calls to make bookings.

What we're looking for

Dental assisting experience and good references

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and empathetic approach to patient care

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately

A genuine passion for the dental industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
