As the Technical Support Engineer you will be in contact with both end users and partners to handle technical support cases for the Oceania region. Besides having a technical foundation, you need to be able to ensure the highest quality standards of customer care.
What you will do:
Provide advanced phone, web portal system, and chat support to end-users, resellers/partners, and distributors.
Work with a case driven system with the responsibility of closing customer cases.
Maintain a professional dialogue with customers throughout the resolution of a support case.
Assist with both after sales and pre-sales support.
Build technical knowledge and contribute to developing the support function within the team
Collaborate with the global technical support team to share ideas and information
Who are we looking for:
Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar Technical Support position
Experience in one or more of the areas: CCTV/ surveillance camera systems, network protocols, servers and storage systems, access control system, client/server OS and application management.
Good understanding of computing and networking.
Sound knowledge of basic computer and hardware technology.
Excellent communication skills.
