RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Responsibilities
Identify new customers, sales, or product opportunities
Enhance relationships with existing customers
Provide services and guidance on bank services to target customers
Analyse credit opportunities and modelling
Draft quality credit proposals for new and existing business relationships
Prepare and review documentation
Study different industry characteristics and identify signs of volatility to make recommendations to the Head of Department
Proactively manage clients and keep Head of Department abreast of new developments
Risk and Compliance
Follow procedural guidance lines and verify processes to comply with group policies and local procedural requirements
Adhere to local regulatory requirements
Research and compile post monitoring reports, post-loan reviews, market condition monitoring, and customer portfolio management
Work with second line of defence to minimize credit risk by identifying possible default signs, investigating causes of concern, and recommending measures of remedy
Qualifications required (Be able to demonstrate and provide examples from your professional experience of the following essential skills)
2-3 years’ experience in corporate or institutional banking
Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or commerce (or equivalent)
Strong research and analytical abilities
Broad sector knowledge
Extensive marketing and banking experience, market sensitivity
Proficient in Microsoft business applications
Able to work independently under pressure and show initiative
Excellent written, oral, interpersonal communication skills in English and Mandarin
Strong negotiation skills
Strong planning and multitasking skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other teams
Relevant Visa with the ability to work in Australia
Self-motivated and driven with a positive workplace attitude
Interest in personal development and further training for career growth
