About the Role
As the Client Services Manager, you’ll be the operational backbone of the client experience- ensuring efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction at every touchpoint. You’ll support senior advisers while also taking the lead on process improvements, team mentoring, and client coordination.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and nurturing strong client relationships
- Ensuring seamless delivery of services and outstanding client support
- Monitoring team WIP (Work In Progress) and identifying workflow roadblocks
- Participating in and leading client meetings to offer strategic insights
- Drafting detailed financial, taxation, and investment advice in collaboration with Partners and Directors
- Reviewing and signing off on client work to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Developing solutions for Division 7A compliance with technical confidence
- Driving process improvements across the team to boost performance and productivity
- Actively contributing to internal initiatives and fostering a collaborative team culture
About You
You’re highly organised, confident in managing client expectations, and thrive on making things run smoothly. You're also a natural communicator who can juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and service.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- 4+ years of experience in public practice accounting within Australia
- CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion)
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation (ITAA, TAA)
- Demonstrated experience in client and stakeholder management
- A collaborative leadership style and a proactive mindset
- Ability to manage deadlines, multitask, and lead with purpose
