The opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to join the AKKF team on a full-time ongoing basis. Reporting to the Senior Manager Marketing and Partnerships, the Corporate Partnerships Manager will manage all aspects of relationship management and delivery of contractual obligations and tailored benefits to fulfil agreements, including day-to-day communications with partners. The role involves identifying business development opportunities, preparation of proposals, financial and program reporting and acquittals.

Responsibilities include:
Growing our stakeholder and sponsor portfolios
Identify new prospects and secure high value partnerships that align with Kookaburra Kids’ mission through compelling proposals and pitches and applying an authentic partnership approach.
Implement long-term and project-based sponsorship and business development strategies to meet AKKF’s goals for cash and in-kind partnerships.
Nurture existing portfolios
Deliver day to day account management of partner relationships and take the lead in managing a selection of current partner agreements.
Manage benefit delivery, tracking of benefits and support partners to leverage all available to them via their agreement.
Compliance
Negotiate and review contracts.
Ensure documentation meets organisational, legislative and funding requirements.
Continuous improvement
Reviewing policies, procedures and work practices and make suggestions for change to support our continuous organisation wide improvement.
Embracing a safety culture including client risk reporting, hazard and incident reporting.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Degree level or other related qualification or demonstrated experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, sponsorship or partnership management, preferably within a not-for-profit context, with a successful track record in the delivery of partnership benefits.
Significant fundraising credentials with proven track record of achieving strategic and operational objectives.
A broad understanding of contemporary fundraising practice and the nonprofit sector, as well as an understanding of and commitment to philanthropy.
Proven excellence in project management working to tight deadlines.
You will be required to:
Maintain a current satisfactory check for working with young people, as per the relevant state/territory legislation.
Maintain a current and satisfactory CrimCheck.
Maintain eligibility to work in Australia.
