INJOY TRADING PTY. LTD. t/a Leaf Café Clemton Park is looking for a passionate, experienced, and motivated cook to join our team, producing fabulous and delicious food. For 9 years, Leaf Café Clemton Park has been a cornerstone venue in south-western Sydney.

Salary range: 75k-80k

Main Duties & Responsibilities

· Checking daily stocks to ensure that the stock of each item is at or above the minimum required level

· Labelling each preparation products and rotate

· Maintaining food preparation area at a highest standard to prevent food cross contamination

· Sautéing, grilling, roasting, frying, boiling, baking, steaming, braising, and poaching food

· Inspecting and tasting food before service started to ensure flavor, texture, and visual appeal meets the highest standards

· Following the dietary and allergen guidelines for the special requirements

· Coordinating, supervising and collaborating with kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking

· Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils to maintain a safe and secure environment

· Assisting chef in developing new recipes

Experience & Skills Required

· A minimum of 2 years of work experience as a cook is preferred

· Relevant qualification in commercial cookery

· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

· Excellent time management, scheduling, managerial, and organisational skills

· Be available to work at weekends.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
