Let’s talk about the role:
As Director of our Exceeding Centre at Ferny Grove, you will work alongside our highly experienced management team to deliver an exceptional level of early education and care. Our 181 place Centre offers the choice two pedagogical streams, an Emergent curriculum or the Montessori curriculum (experience with the Montessori method is not essential, but an openness to learning about the method will be essential to success in this role).
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre in line with legislative requirements, company policies and procedures.
Lead, motivate, mentor and support the team with a high level of skill, in a forward-facing and present way.
Manage staffing rosters efficiently.
Build relationships with families, children, educators, and the local community.
Deliver consistent high-quality standards for centre presentation and work practice.
Now let’s talk about you:
You will be a highly experienced people leader at Director level in the early education and care sector, with at least 5 years managing an early education facility (with experience as a Nominated Supervisor) and providing a high standard of quality care.
Well versed in all aspects of compliance, including a good knowledge of the Early Years Learning and National Quality Framework and experience with the Assessment and Rating process. High level of administration and organisation skills are essential, in addition to being an excellent communicator with great time management skills.
The following qualifications are also essential:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and/ or Early Childhood Teaching degree
Current Qld Working with Children Check
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
