About Mother Kate’s Early Learning Centre

Nestled in the heart of Wondai, Queensland, Mother Kate’s Early Learning Centre is a 63-place, purpose-built facility that has proudly served the Darling Downs region since 2008. As a family-owned centre welcoming children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, our mission is to provide a nurturing, play-based environment where young minds can flourish.

What makes us truly unique is our deep connection to the local community. Our educators, vendors, and families are all part of the same network, fostering a sense of unity and belonging. We believe in community-led leadership, empowering our Centre Director to shape their own path. The most successful initiatives we’ve implemented have come directly from the passionate ideas of our on-the-ground team.

Our educational offering includes a government-approved kindergarten program and cultural inclusivity. We also offer enriching experiences like field trips and guest speakers that stimulate curiosity and lifelong learning.
