About Us: The Village Medical Practice is not your ordinary GP Practice.

At the The Village Medical Practice in Harrisdale, our vision is to create a space where Patients can feel relaxed when visiting their doctor.

We have chosen staff who are caring and friendly and highly skilled in their profession and are now looking to add to our team.

The position is part-time (20+ hours per week) including occasional Weekends/Public Holidays, with the flexibility to cover leave.

Responsibilities:

Welcoming patients and visitors, answering telephone inquires

Faxing, scanning, emailing, filing and mailing documentation

Liaising with professionals such as medical specialists and allied health professionals

Making and serving barista coffee/drinks and food to patients and visitors etc. (all training provided)

Scheduling appointments

Processing payments, using Best Practice and EFTPOS

Liaising with Medicare, Workcover etc.

Maintaining information confidentiality at all times

Requirements:

Previous Medical reception experience (essential)

Previous experience with Best Practice (BP Premier) software (>1 year experience essential)

Friendly and professional manner and customer service skills

Ability to work well in a fast-paced, friendly and inviting team environment

High Multitasking skills
