For one of our clients, a high-performing Australian property development company currently undergoing rapid growth, we are seeking a CA/CPA qualified professional with broad experience in property development businesses to step up as a Financial Controller for the headquarters based in CBD, Sydney

Description

• Lead property finance, financial reporting, compliance, audit, tax, and analysis for group entities, collaborating closely with the CEO and wider team.
• Manage accounting functions, including annual budgeting, cash flow forecasting, project budgets, financial analysis, and cost control for property projects.
• Provide strategic commercial support, conducting regular P&L reviews, cashflow forecasting, and improving business processes to boost operational performance.
• Oversee the reporting of financial results, supervise the accounting team, and ensure cash flow supports business operations while managing project budgets.
• Handle and review balance sheet preparation, intercompany, tax compliance, liaise with external consultants, and fulfill ad hoc reporting requirements

Profile

• CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years experience in a finance manager or similar role
• Property development industry experience is a must have.
• Strong financial modelling, analysis and reporting is essential.
• Excellent senior level stakeholder management skills
