Our client is a growing mid-sized manufacturer and distributor of consumer products and apparel with an international presence in UK, Australia, New Zealand (Sales operations) and South Asia (Manufacturing operations). They are a 100% owned portfolio company of as large ASX listed entity and as such adhere to the strict governance and reporting requirements of a listed environment. The business is in rapid growth mode through both organic and acquisitive means and is targeting a turnover in excess of $200mn in the short to medium term.

This role has been driven by the need for a technical specialist with strong control, consolidation and external statutory reporting expertise as well as knowledge of manufacturing accounting and partnering to compliment a strategically focused CFO. Your mandate will be to establish the Global Reporting and Consolidation function and manage the Tax disclosure and Audit process whilst supporting the manufacturing operations with guidance, insights and advice.

We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals possessing the following skills and attributes:

Strong Financial Reporting, Control and External disclosure expertise

Previous ASX Corporate reporting experience highly desirable

Ability to step into a leadership role and lead the regional financial control cohort based overseas

Build control framework, process and governance that will guide future growth ambitions

Breadth of financial expertise covering operational understanding and reporting of manufacturing environment

Prepare the business for external audit and future transaction due diligence

You are CPA/CA qualified from a Big 4/ Top 10 Professional Accounting Firm (or equivalent) who is a self-starter with the ability to back themselves and “get the job done”. You will possess exceptional communication skills and strong personal presence to liaise and influence at all levels including ASX owners, Board and the ELT. Collaboration, authenticity and humility are all key traits inherent within the business that you will need to display to succeed in this impactful organisation.
