Due to internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated Principal Consultant to lead and deliver consulting projects and industry programs that drive the adoption of GS1 Standards and Services. Examples of key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leading the management and delivery of consulting projects, including planning, execution, and presenting final recommendations.
• Analysing complex business challenges and developing innovative, client-centric solutions.
• Creating and expanding service offerings to support strategic business initiatives and new service development.
• Developing and executing proposals for advisory engagements.
• Supporting business development efforts by identifying opportunities and expanding the client base.
• Building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organisations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, impactful results for clients.

What you will bring:

• Previous experience in consulting or advisory roles, with a proven track record of delivering successful consulting engagements and managing projects from inception to completion.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Sound understanding of project management and change management principles, supported by formal qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent) and practical experience delivering complex projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks/deadlines concurrently.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field – or equivalent industry experience.

We are especially interested in candidates with deep expertise in e-commerce and/or supply chain management, with a proven track record of driving innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, and delivering measurable results in these sectors.

About the team

You’ll be joining a proactive, collaborative team with a can-do attitude—where support is always available, and mutual effort is a must to ensure project success. We follow a hybrid work model of three in-office days and two remote days. You will be required to work from client sites as needed, and this will count toward your in-office days.
