About the company/role:
Our Sydney Office is recruiting for a QA Officer with a fresh produce processing company which supplies all major retailers. This is a permanent day shift position and reports directly to the QA Manager. This role has excellent career progression and growth opportunities.

Duties:

• Carry out daily QC checks – labelling, weight, pH
• Maintain site Quality Management System
• GMP audits and assist with external customer audits
• Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions
• Roll out food safety training for production team members
• Verify processing procedures

Skills/experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or a related discipline
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is essential
• Knowledge of Australian Food Authority and retailer standards
• Eagerness to work in a dynamic processing environment
• Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
