Due to internal movement we’re seeking a Manager - Allied Health & Community Programs to join a highly reputable organisation. Within the role, you will manage daily operations and functions, lead and mentor teams, develop and implement a strategic plan focused on growth and governance whilst ensuring the highest level of clinical care is provided across sites.
The role:
- Providing leadership, overall direction, co-ordination and efficient management of day to day operations and employees across sites in accordance with mission and values of the organisation.
- Demonstrate the highest level of collaborative communication across medical, nursing and allied health professionals to support an integrated approach to care delivery.
- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan designed to meet the goals and objectives including growth, budgetary limitations and customer care standards.
- Consult with stakeholders both internal and external ensuring effective community engagement with aged care teams, external suppliers in all aspects of the service delivery.
- Provide support, education and resources to consumers so they can make informed decisions and have choice over services they receive.
- Achieve program performance goals by working with consumers to manage their individual agreed services.
- Maintain staff levels, manage performance and manage training and development needs.
- Ensure services promote optimal, qualitative outcomes to agreed funding streams.
- The development and implementation of all policies in relation to the provision of Care Services.
- Maintain accreditation and funding levels to ensure the future viability.
- Ensure quality and legislative standards are met.
What we’re looking for:
- Allied Health Qualification
- Proven management and people management experience
- Current drivers’ licence (essential)
- A current Working with Children check (with clearance to work with children) (essential)
- National Police Check (essential)
- Experience developing or managing budgets
- Experience in leading change and promoting change positively in a workplace
- Experience and commitment to working with quality and risk management systems
- Confident and skilled professional with the ability to engage and motivate consumers, families, staff and stakeholders.
- Comprehensive experience in leading a flexible, multi-skilled team environment and management competence in Organisation Management; Human Resources; Financial Management; Time Management; External Relations and Service Provision.
