About the role

We are currently experiencing sales growth and expansion and have an exciting opportunity within our Quality team for a QA Officer.

Help us produce products meeting Earlee Products, safety, quality, productivity and MIFOT standards.

Day to Day responsibilities

Promote and demonstrate Earlee Products WH&S policies, culture, values, and mission.

Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and validations along with a strong understanding of the commercial impacts of quality assurance

Develop, review and maintain site HACCP food safety plan with the Site Quality Manager and relevant stakeholders, ensuring compliance with FSANZ and local regulations during production of food products

Manage investigation of customer complaints and food safety incidents raised

Maintain and run the HACCP for all lines of production

Managing and running the annual internal Audit process within the Safefood360 System.

Maintaining the audit standards and corrective actions

Verifications and Validations activities of QMS (Quality Management System)

Ensure compliance to SQF program for continued approval as a SQF certified manufacturer, this includes planning, system management, testing, reviews, improvements, and audits.

Oversee any changes highlighted to the team to meet industry standards

Provide additional management and supervision support to the QA and Production teams

Assist during external regulatory and customer audits.

Working Relationships

Supervision collaboration with the Quality Assurance team

Working with the production team to adhere to HACCP & QMS (includes GMP and other internal audits conducted)

Working with the dispatch team to support the transition of goods in and out.

Working with the research and development team

Providing & working with the accounts team with information related to complaints and NCRs (Non-conformance Reports) for reporting purposes.

Supporting the management and administration team with any adhoc requests

KPI's

Oversee the business requirements to pass the Annual SQF Audit & maintain the QMS.

Maintain a high level of Quality through generation of statistics for the business.

Oversee and maintain the Safefood360 System.

Maintain and provide refresher training for HACCP and GMP to the team when required.

Provide support to the Quality Assurance team and the wider business

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a QA Office role

Strong attention to detail
