The Opportunity:

Join the Quality Assurance team at Global Manufacturing Group, a well-established manufacturing company based in Gladstone, QLD. In this full-time role as a Quality Control Officer, you will play a vital part in maintaining the high standards and exceptional quality of the company's manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect manufactured products at various stages to ensure they meet all quality, safety and performance standards

Read and interpret engineering drawings

Identify and investigate any quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed

Organise external testing of assemblies as required

Maintain detailed records and documentation related to quality control processes and findings

Collaborate with production teams and client managers to improve quality control procedures and processes

Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices

Assist in the development and implementation of quality control plans and policies

Qualifications:

Trade background relevant to the role essential

Cert 10 welding qualification desired

Skills:

Proven experience in a quality control or inspection role within a manufacturing environment

Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently apply and maintain quality control standards

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve quality issues

Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with the production team and client managers

Proficient with quality control documentation and data analysis tools
