At Enabled Disability Services, we’re on the hunt for compassionate, down-to-earth, and dependable support workers to join our casual team in our Canberra-based respite homes.

You’ll be part of a small, supportive crew who work together to create a warm, safe, and empowering space for people with disabilities. This isn’t just a job—it’s about showing up for someone in ways that matter.

🌟 What the Role Involves

You’ll support clients with everyday activities, help with routines, and encourage them to engage in things they enjoy—whether that’s a walk, a movie, a craft session, or a trip to the local shops.

Hours: Approx. 15 hrs/week to start

Days: Must be available Mon-Fri

Times: Between 8:00am–5:30pm (shifts may vary within this window)

🧡 What You'll Be Doing

Help with morning routines, personal care, and daily living skills

Support clients in fun, social and community-based activities

Prepare simple meals and assist with light household tasks

Keep detailed notes and communicate clearly with families and the team

Bring calm, encouragement, and empathy to every shift

✅ What You’ll Need

Availability across the required days and hours

First Aid & CPR (or willingness to get it)

WWVP Check & Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Reliable, team-first attitude

Experience is great—but not essential.
