The Practice
Located in Bondi Junction, our oral and maxillofacial surgery practice is committed to delivering exceptional service and care to our patients. Operating at a fast pace, our team embodies professionalism, dedication and a deep passion for their work.
The Role
As a receptionist in our practice, you'll experience a varied and engaging workday. From handling phone calls and coordinating clinics to administrative tasks and patient interactions, you'll have a wide range of responsibilities.
You will work in a team of two front receptionists, 3 clinical staff and a Practice Manager, with the opportunity to progress into an Office Manager role.
This is a full time position and the hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
The Duties and Responsibilities are:
Providing an outstanding level of customer service in person and over the phone to patients and all health professionals
Answering incoming phones calls and responding to emails
Efficiently and accurately scheduling and managing patient appointments for the three surgeons utilising Xestro software
Management of patient invoicing and receipting of consultations
Coordination of surgical theatre lists
Liaising with other health care professionals and hospital staff
Providing administration support within the team and to the Practice Manager
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
We value previous experience as a Medical Receptionist/Dental Receptionists is highly, but we also welcome experienced receptionists/administrators from other industries who are ready to dive into the world of healthcare
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Professional, warm and friendly disposition
A high standard of personal integrity – trustworthy, loyal and honest.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm, cool and collected under pressure
Able to work well independently, but also as part of a team.
