**Job Description:**
We are seeking a compassionate and organised Medical Receptionist to join our paediatric clinic. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring smooth and efficient operations at the front desk.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Greet and welcome patients and their families with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance information and collecting co-pays
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of clinic resources
- Answer and direct phone calls, addressing patient inquiries and providing information as needed
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient flow and support clinical operations
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Assist with billing and coding processes as required
- Manage inventory of office supplies and ensure the reception area is clean and organized

**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a medical office or similar healthcare setting, preferably in pediatrics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and empathetic attitude
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail
- Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other office software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic insurance procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly
