About the role

We are seeking an experienced and professional Medical Receptionist (Part Time and Full Time) to join our dynamic medical practice in Adamstown NSW. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the smooth operation of our practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling appointments, managing patient bookings, and maintaining the practice's appointment system

Handling patient inquiries and providing information about the practice's services, policies, and procedures

Performing data entry tasks, such as updating patient records and processing patient information

Assisting with the organization and maintenance of the medical office, including ordering supplies and organizing the reception area

Providing administrative support to the medical team as needed including organizing operative theatre lists

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service-oriented role within the healthcare industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

Proficiency in using medical office software, such as patient management systems and electronic medical records

A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to providing accurate and reliable information

A friendly, cheerful, and customer-focused attitude
