Capstone are assisting a local Council in regional NSW with sourcing an interim 'Director Planning'.

• To commence: ASAP ideally
• Contract length: Likely 3-4 months
• Located: New England Region, NSW
• Ability to work from home some Mondays/Fridays (allowing some flexibility)
• Accommodation will be covered by Council
• Working: Full-time hours
• Paying around: $900-$1,000 per day + super

Leading a directorate of around 22 staff across:

• Planning (Statutory and Strategic) & Development
• Regulatory Compliance
• Economic Development

You will have tertiary qualifications in either: Urban Planning, Town Planning, Environmental Health, Economic Development or similar.

Council intends on going out to market for this role on a permanent basis towards the end June/start July. This temporary/interim incumbent is welcomed and encouraged to apply.
