Complete Staff Solutions are seeking an experienced Delivery Director to join our client in Coffs Harbour!

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Daily pay rate is: $1583.93 + Super

Purpose of the role:

The role has a leadership role supporting a Project Director to ensure the development and delivery of major projects to time, cost and quality requirements. It provides strategic guidance and supports Federal and State Government’s targets for infrastructure development.

The role will be responsible for the resolution of complex project issues and challenges with the Proponent consortia, internal Transport for NSW branches and various Government agencies as applicable and for leading high-level consultations and negotiations to ensure that the Project program and budget are maintained. The role works with the Project Director to manage competing pressures between project scope, performance, cost, program and risk, while meeting stakeholder expectations and longer-term community needs in an environment of intense public scrutiny.

The position guides and drives project delivery across several project locations, some large and complex and often operating continuously. It ensures the project is planned to best practice project, contract and asset management standards, in compliance with planning approvals, on a commercially sound basis and to the satisfaction of the key stakeholders and the community.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience in all stages of a complex infrastructure project life-cycle, experience in all stages of a complex infrastructure project life-cycle, planning and delivery process and specific experience in Design & Construct contracts, planning and delivery processes
• Demonstrated understanding of high-level technical issues
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant, equivalent professional experience
• Class C driver’s licence
• Must have 2 x work related references
