About the Opportunity

Join the household of Dr. Harry, founder of My Performance Doctor, a telemedicine practice dedicated to revolutionising healthcare delivery. We're seeking an exceptional Private Chef, Housekeeper and all-around assistant to support a dynamic medical professional and his family in their beautiful Victorian-era Sandringham home.

This role offers the unique opportunity to directly contribute to meaningful healthcare innovation by ensuring Dr. Harry and his family have the home support they need to focus on changing lives through medicine. You'll be working alongside someone who truly values and invests in the people around him.

The Household

You'll be supporting a vibrant household that includes:

Dr. Harry and his wife Stephanie (both healthcare professionals and practice owners with 8:30 am - 6 pm work schedules)

Four active children (aged 11-18) are involved in volleyball, basketball, baseball, netball, flag football, music and other various after-school activities.

A home that transitions between quiet couple time and bustling full-house energy (shared custody arrangements)

Two very friendly medium-sized dogs that complete the family.

Garage converted into a home-gym / bike room plus a small basketball court.

A large family home with spacious indoor and outdoor areas, including Dr. Harry's home office, where he conducts telehealth consultations and meetings with his team of 15+.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary Excellence

Plan and prepare fresh, healthy family meals (dinners Monday through Friday, plus grab-and-go lunches).

Batch-cook and portion meals for the family's busy schedule

Create school lunchbox components and potentially breakfast options

Stock healthy snacks to fuel active teenagers (and a doctor under time pressure)

Maintain an organised, well-stocked kitchen and pantry

Embrace various cuisines while keeping health-conscious principles

Household Management

Maintain the large family home with daily resets and weekly deep-cleaning

Manage laundry for the entire household (washing, folding, organising)

Coordinate household systems and organisation (restocking, managing sports gear)

Perform errands including groceries, dry cleaning, and parcel management

Liaise with service providers and accept deliveries

Occasional assistance with capturing video content.

Family Support

Create welcoming transitions as household dynamics shift

Provide care for two medium-sized dogs (feeding, walking, occasional dog wash)

Maintain flexibility around Dr. Harry's telehealth schedule and home office needs

Support the family's athletic lifestyle with appropriate meal timing and nutrition

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in private household management or high-end hospitality

Strong culinary skills with the ability to prepare varied, healthy family meals from scratch

Adaptability and initiative to manage a dynamic household with changing needs

Trustworthiness and discretion are key when working in a professional medical household

Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

Current police check and professional references

Comfort with dogs and teenagers

Right to work in Australia
