As a Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, while delivering exceptional service to employees and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process end-to-end payroll in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies
• Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity
• Respond to employee queries regarding pay, leave, and entitlements
• Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and compliance requirements
• Liaise with HR and Finance teams to support smooth payroll operations
• Interpret a number of different awards and EBAs
• Ad-hoc duties as required

About You:

• Previous experience in a payroll position (high-volume environments highly regarded)
• Strong knowledge of various awards and EBAs, relevant legislation
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Chris21, SAP, Aurion, or similar)
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
