The Opportunity:
Sirius. are a National Recruitment Group seeking a highly capable Payroll / Accounts Officer to support multiple business units across labour hire, contracting, and professional services. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone who has worked within a recruitment agency environment and understands the nuances of award interpretation, contractor payroll and client invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full end-to-end payroll processing for temp, contractor and casual workforces across multiple entities (Blue Collar, Professional Services, Technology & Consulting)
• Weekly processing of timesheets, payslips, invoices and ABA filesAward and EA interpretation across a variety of industries and roles
• Manage compliance reporting (PAYG, Superannuation, STP, Government reports)
• Client invoicing and management of client portals (Coupa, SAP Ariba etc.)
• Accounts Receivable management – aged debt follow-up, client contact, payment arrangements, debtor reporting
• Temp / Contractor onboarding and compliance checks (Astute Payroll & Bullhorn)
• Liaising with internal consultants, clients, and contractors to resolve payroll queries
• Margin reporting, reconciliations and monthly financial reporting

About You:

• Minimum 2 years payroll experience within a recruitment agency or labour hire environment
• Astute Payroll experience is essential
• Strong Fair Work award interpretation experience
• Exposure to Accounts Receivable highly regarded
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, consultants and contractors
• Strong systems skills – Bullhorn, Xero, Astute Payroll, Excel, Deputy
