Our client is a specialist EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) company providing end-to-end underground mining solutions across Australia. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and technical excellence, the business delivers integrated services including equipment supply, skilled labour, and expertise in drilling, blasting, excavation, and shaft recovery. It is currently involved in several high-profile projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across diverse mining and infrastructure sectors.
  • Lead complex negotiations with clients, contractors, and partners to secure profitable contracts.
  • Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, industry leaders, and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and project management to ensure alignment and delivery excellence.
  • Analyse market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic sales decisions and adapt approaches.
  • Drive the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation and qualification through bidding, proposal submission, and contract closure.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, forums, and client engagements to enhance brand presence and business networks.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on results and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and reporting systems to forecast accurately, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
