Social Media & Marketing Manager – Trainstop

Trainstop is changing how local footy talent gets discovered. We’re a fast-growing sports tech company connecting players with clubs, recruiters, and elite pathways through our platform and high-performance preseason training programs. Right now, we’re all about local footy – but we’ve got plans to expand into other sports too. We’re looking for a creative, footy-obsessed operator to lead our marketing and grow our national presence.

What you’ll do:

Own our social media channels – plan, post, engage, repeat

Create and execute campaigns that drive player signups, club subscriptions, and event attendance

Capture and edit content (photo/video) from training sessions, games, and events

Build and manage email newsletters and paid ads (Meta + Google)

Shape Trainstop’s voice across the web, socials, and product

Collaborate with athletes, coaches, and internal teams to tell compelling stories

What we’re looking for:

Proven social media or digital marketing experience

Confident with Canva, Adobe Suite, Meta Ads Manager, Mailchimp (or similar tools)

Bonus points for experience in sport, startups, or youth-led brands

Strong communicator and self-starter who can juggle multiple projects

Strong understanding of local footy – whether you’ve played, coached, filmed, or just live and breathe it
