We are currently seeking an amazing Inclusion Support Educator to join the team at our purpose-built, award-winning Early Childhood service in Orange, NSW!

About the Role

As an Inclusion Support Educator, you will be energetic, creative, dedicated and driven to assist children with additional needs to independently engage with their peers and learning environment.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Meet the Following Selection Criteria:

• Inclusive of others and brings a positive attitude every day
• Interest in and/or passion for and/or experience in working with children with additional needs
• Open to our innovative and unique way of programming, practice and pedagogy as well as the RIE approach
• Enthusiastic, committed and reliable professional who is relentless in the pursuit of excellence for children and willing to grow with our service
• Ability and motivation to build and maintain positive relationships and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community
• ACECQA approved Early Childhood or Allied Health qualification/s i.e. Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Special Education, or working towards/similar (highly regarded).

Essential Criteria:

• Valid NSW Working With Children Check
• Understanding of contemporary child safe practices (or a willingness to acquire this)
• Available on a permanent part-time basis from Monday to Thursday, 8 hours per day, and 32 hours a week
• Current relevant First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates as well as Child Protection training completed within the last 12 months, specifically CHCPRT025 - 'Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk' (or willing to obtain/renew as required).
