About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Certificate III Qualified Inclusion Support Educator to become a part of our welcoming and supportive team at Uniting Preschool Grafton. Educating children from birth to Preschool age, you will bring with you your positive interactions with children and passion for inclusive early childhood practice and social justice. Uniting Preschool Grafton, has been a much-loved part of their local community for many years, teaching young children the crucial skill of learning that will ease their transition to 'big school' and far beyond.

What you’ll be doing in this role
As a Certificate III Qualified Inclusion Support Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children with additional needs and help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework!

Your work may include:

• Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.
• Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.

Who we’re looking for

• Must have completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, with previous inclusion support experience (preferred)
• Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
• A work history that demonstrates, programming, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard)
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
• You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
