Certificate 111 in Early Childhood Education and Care

Temporary Part Time position Mon/Tues/Weds with the potential for ongoing regular work

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a passionate Certificate 111 qualified educator to join our team at Wyong Preschool which, is situated on Darkinjung land.

Wyong Preschool is a non-profit community based preschool which was founded in 1975. We have provided quality early childhood education and care to the Wyong community for over 50 years. Our preschool is committed to child safety and promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.

Our curriculum embraces The Early Years Framework which has a strengths based perspective with a strong focus on learning through play. We provide a rich inclusive learning environment to promote engagement, interactive learning, exploration and problem solving.

Our beautiful natural environment provides the children with opportunities to immerse themselves in nature. Through this environment we actively foster a connection to land including respect and responsibility in caring for the natural world.

Essential Criteria:

- Certificate 111 in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)

- Minimum of two years’ experience working as a Certificate 111 qualified educator

- Current ACECQA approved First Aid Certificate

- A valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check

- Current Child Protection training and knowledge of Child Protection Legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children

- Ability to work in a professional team environment

- Experience with varying forms of documentation including online formats

- Sound Understanding of the NQF, EYLF, Education and Care Services National Law (2010), the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and Child safe Standards
