About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and professional Executive Assistant to support the Head of Primary and the Primary Leadership Team at St Andrew’s Anglican College. This pivotal role contributes to the efficient operation of the Primary School through high-level administrative, operational, and systems support.
The successful applicant will be an experienced administrator who thrives in a dynamic school environment, has exceptional organisational and communication skills, and can confidently manage competing priorities with discretion and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level administrative and operational support to the Head of Primary and Primary Leadership Team.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate key events and communications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student and school data across systems such as TASS and the College website.
- Act as the Primary School’s TASS ‘super user’, offering support, troubleshooting, and training to staff.
- Prepare and distribute professional correspondence, reports, and documents for staff, students, and families.
- Coordinate Primary School events and processes including camps, interviews, awards, academic reporting, and ceremonies.
- Provide responsive and professional front-line service to students, families, and staff.
- Process administrative tasks including purchase orders, bookings, and office supply management.
- Contribute to College-wide administration and reception support, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Head of Primary, consistent with the scope of the role.
What you’ll bring
- Current Blue Card or eligibility to obtain one, and understanding of child safety obligations in schools.
- Demonstrated experience in executive administrative support within a school or similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong skills in managing calendars, coordinating events, and maintaining professional communication.
- Proficiency with information management platforms such as TASS or similar, with ability to support others in its use.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on service and relationships.
- Advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment.
- Willingness to support the wider administrative needs of the College and adapt to evolving priorities.
