Are you a senior HR professional looking to step into a role where your expertise will shape the future of a growing, multifaceted business? This is a rare opportunity to join a successful healthcare group at a pivotal time of growth and transformation.
Our client is an entrepreneurial organisation headquartered in Brisbane, with established and emerging ventures across healthcare, wellness, and adjacent sectors. The group is led by a dynamic, people-focused founder and supported by a capable executive leadership team. As their People & Culture leader, you’ll report directly to the C-suite executives and play a key role in building and leading the people strategy across the group.
Your Role
This is not a traditional HR role. You’ll be a strategic partner to the business, leading a small HR team and ensuring that both people and commercial goals are aligned. You’ll influence from the top down and across the organisation, while also rolling up your sleeves to deliver practical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and lead the delivery of a scalable People & Culture strategy across multiple business units
- Act as a key advisor to the Founder and C-suite on people, culture, and organisational design
- Lead and mentor a small HR team, focused on compliance, engagement, and talent development.
- Support leaders across the group to build high-performing, values-aligned teams
- Develop and implement policies, frameworks, and leadership development initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement and foster a positive, inclusive culture across all locations
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring a strong generalist HR background with senior-level experience in dynamic or multifaceted organisations. You’re commercial, people-first, and confident, navigating a business that is fast-paced and evolving.
Your Background Might Include:
- Experience as a Senior HR Business Partner, People & Culture Manager or Head of People in a growing organisation
- Proven success partnering with C-suite executives and influencing at the leadership level
- Experience managing or mentoring HR team members
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices
- Industry experience in healthcare, allied health, or a similarly regulated environment is ideal
