ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting temporary opportunity for a student or recent graduate to join the Primary team as a Primary Sports Assistant. This 12-month fixed-term position will commence on 14 July 2025 (Semester 2) and conclude on 19 July 2026.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to support teachers with the delivery of physical education and sports activities across all year levels. This part-time role offers 30 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.00pm during school term time.

In this role, you will assist with the setup and pack-down of equipment, support PE lesson delivery, supervise student activities, and help create a fun and inclusive environment for all students. You will also be involved in College sports carnivals, after-school events, and co-curricular programs.

This position is ideal for someone with a passion for sport, strong communication skills, and a positive, proactive attitude. Experience working with children is highly regarded. Relevant qualifications (or evidence of study in progress), First Aid training, and a current Queensland Working with Children Check (or the ability to obtain one) are essential.
