3 week temporary assignment

Start date: 11th / 12th / 13th June

Finish date: 4th July

Role is fully onsite near Flagstaff / Queen Vic Market. Candidates must be Melbourne-based or willing and able to commute to this location for the duration of the contract in order to be considered.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

Answer the main telephone and direct calls where needed. Each call should be answered as quickly as possible, the caller should have their questions answered or be directed to a staff member who can provide them with the assistance they need.

Answer general enquiries either directly or by directing the caller to the information they require without the need to forward the call to another member of staff.

Retrieve messages from voicemail and respond as needed. This would entail forwarding messages to staff or responding to enquiries yourself in a timely manner.

Receive and forward general emails as needed. This would entail forwarding messages to appropriate staff members or answering enquiries yourself in a timely manner

Greet visitors and notify staff of their arrival as required. Visitors should be greeted in a professional and welcoming manner so they have a positive first impression.

Ensure the visitors and contractors sign-in policy is adhered to.

Keep reception area and the public waiting area tidy. By ensuring this occurs, visitors will have a positive first impression of the office as well as ensuring there are no occupational and safety hazards in the public waiting area of the building.
