City Recital Hall is the acoustic jewel of the Sydney live music scene, purpose-built 25 years ago to be a home to classical and contemporary performance.

Today, City Recital Hall hosts a diverse range of events, enabling audiences to connect with their favourite artist in a venue that balances intimacy with scale.

This year alone we have been home to a wide variety of performances, from electronic artists 2manydjs and Röyksopp, pop and soul favourites Kate Miller-Heidke, Teeks and Allison Russell, conference TEDxSydney, comedians Ben Elton and Danny Bhoy and seasons from our Key Presenters including Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Pinchgut Opera.

We want more people to experience how City Recital Hall ‘sounds better’, and our new Marketing Manager will be critical to achieving that aim.

The Marketing Manager leads the day-to-day delivery of the marketing team, raising awareness of City Recital Hall and driving utilisation (venue hire), ticket sales and Memberships. The role manages a team of two.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

Considerable experience in campaign strategy and delivery in an experience industry.

People management experience.

Departmental and campaign budget management experience.

Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to create public-facing copy.

Intermediate user of Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager, Tik Tok Ads Manager, Google Analytics and Adwords.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

At least 5 years’ experience in a senior marketing role.

At least 3 years’ experience managing staff.

$120K + Super
