Presenting over 45 years’ experience in skilling solutions and services to employers and businesses, job seekers and students, through apprenticeship support services, employment, education support programs, and vocational training.

A bit about the role...

The Manager, Suburban University Study Hub, works within the context of The BUSY Group’s funding agreement with the Federal Government’s Department of Education. The Suburban University Study Hub aims to support underrepresented and educationally disadvantaged students from suburban areas with low tertiary education participation who face increased barriers to accessing tertiary study.

This is a fixed term, full-time position until 30 June 2027 with possibility of extension based in our Beenleigh Hub.

A bit about you…

• Demonstratable experience with leading and promoting a similar service.
• Demonstratable knowledge of the tertiary education systems in the region.
• Experience in managing stakeholder relationships.
• Have a sound understanding around the barriers students may face with engagement to further education.
• Experience in developing strong working relationships with other service providers to deliver holistic support for students.
• Have an outcome focused approach.
• Positive, driven approach to a continually changing work environment.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
• Ability to obtain a police check with no disclosable outcomes and Blue Card.
