About the role
We are seeking a qualified Certificate III in Individual Support trainer & assessor for a short-term position to fill an unexpected vacancy. The person will deliver face-to-face classes to a small group of 12 students on Mondays and Tuesdays from 23 June to 22 July, plus practical placement visits.
In this role you will:
deliver training and assessment in Certificate III in Individual Support classes as scheduled
maintain accurate records of student attendance
deliver program according to approved Learning and Assessment Plans.
Pay Rate
All pay and conditions are governed by the 2016 Neighbourhood House and Adult Community Education Collective Agreement (NHACE 2016). The casual hourly rate for this position in $58.62-$70.03, depending on experience. Because of the short term nature of the position, we will consider requests for a rate above the Industrial Agreement
Skills and experience
To apply for this position you must have:
Current TAE4022 or TAE40116
Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support.
Experience working as a Trainer and Assessor
Current Working with Children and Police Checks

These services are all provided within the Crown Street Community Precinct. The Laverton Community Centre is now operating from inside the newly built Laverton Community Services Hub located on Railway Avenue.
