Payroll Officer | 3 Month Temp | Strathfield | Up To $61.33 p/h Incl. Super

About the company:

My client, a leading FMCG company, are currently looking to bring an experienced payroll officer into the team on a 3 month temporary contract, with the possibility to extend to 6 months. This role is full-time office based with no work from home.
Working Holiday Visa holders will be considered.

Key responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end employee payroll according to relevant awards, agreements, and company procedure.
• Maintain accurate payroll transactions, superannuation, tax, and deductions.
• Respond to payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to improve payroll processes.

Experience:

• 2-3 years previous experience as a Payroll Officer.
• Must have strong end-to-end processing experience using PRECEDA.
• Strong award interpretation experience.
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
