Appointment Setter – Dental Industry | Flexible, Hybrid Role
Location: Melbourne | Full-Time or Job Share | Work from Home + with some in clinic meetings

Next Smile Melbourne & Dental Clinique are seeking a proactive and personable Appointment Setter to join our growing team. In this dynamic role, you’ll be the first point of contact for all new patient enquiries, making patient calls and play a vital role in supporting our clinical and leadership teams.

What You’ll Do:

Manage incoming calls and enquiries from marketing campaigns

Book new patient consultations and follow up on leads

Support patients with scheduling and treatment information

Follow up with patients to book their required treatment/regular hygiene visits

Assist the leadership team with various admin tasks

Work flexibly—some in-clinic hours required (especially at the start whilst training), with the option to work from home most of the time. Flexible hours available (ideal for working parents).

Monitor weekend enquiries to ensure timely response to leads

Who This Role Suits:

This role would be ideal for someone from a dental background looking to move into a non-clinical, remote working. Ideal experience includes:

Dental Assistants/Dental Receptionists

Treatment Coordinators

Dental Practice Manager

Dental Hygienists or Oral Health Therapists (OHTs)

What You’ll Need:

Based in Melbourne (required for occasional in-person meetings and training)

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Friendly, confident phone manner with the ability to build rapport quickly

Highly organised, responsive, and comfortable using CRM systems (we use HubSpot)

Prior experience in dental, healthcare, or customer service roles highly regarded

Knowledge of dental procedures and able to discuss them with patients to assist with scheduling a plus.

Remuneration:

Base Salary: $70,000 – $80,000inc p/a (depending on experience)

Bonus Structure: Generous performance bonus based on treatment outcomes.

Flexible Role Structure:

Full-time across the full week (to ensure timely responses to enquiries)

Flexible hours in turn are available for the right candidate (e.g. to accommodate school hours)
