We are seeking an experienced and fully qualified External Auditor to work in our busy company.

Some of the key duties you will be required to perform include:

Develop and establish budgetary control and financial reporting processes and systems to ensure compliance with external financial reporting criteria

Planning, conducting field work and completing external audit engagements to present to management for review including identifying and advising on financial risks

Conduct independent statutory audits and prepare financial reports for a wide variety of entities including unlisted companies, proprietary companies, incorporated associations and other not-for-profit entities and government bodies

Assess the risks and budgetary effectiveness of organisations’ operational systems and procedures and preparing the relevant reports

Provide advice on taxation planning and asset and debt management to assist with the meeting of financial reporting requirements

Prepare complete and accurate audit work papers and programs through the collation and assessment of organisations’ trading and financial positions and frameworks

Develop and execute audit procedures, reporting criteria, and objectives to assist with the preparation and checking of statutory accounts prior to audit sign off
